Ian Morrish

Ian is one of New Zealand’s most experienced SharePoint experts. He is the author of highly influential SharePoint site www.spsdemo.com. Ian is also a co-author of several books, including the SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Architect's Guidebook by WROX.

Prior to joining Information Leadership in 2011, Ian was a consultant at Microsoft for 10 years where he focused on collaboration and knowledge management systems implementation. Ian has been a speaker at Microsoft TechEd NZ every year since it started and has presented regularly at Microsoft’s global Tech Ready events and various SharePoint conferences. Ian remains involved with Microsoft directly as a SharePoint Virtual Technical Specialist (v-TSP).

Ian has the following Microsoft Technical Qualifications: SharePoint Elite; Microsoft Certified Professional; Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist; and Business Value Planning.

As the Senior Solutions Consultant at Information Leadership Ian is responsible for providing thought leadership and technical expertise to the SharePoint practice. Key assignments include provision of technical governance and system architecture advice, server farm design, and requirements gathering, design and delivery of SharePoint service platforms. Ian offers clients 30 years of ITC experience, incisive insights and comprehensive service.
