On tour with the Microsoft NZ team

Microsoft opened it's new office in central city Christchurch this week and Information Leadership was there with staff and other partners to celebrate the new shared workspace.

The executive team, who were down for the opening, were also treated to a personal tour of the rebuilt central city by our Community Manager, Simone Rewa Pearson.

Christchurch was badly damaged by earthquakes in 2010 and 2011, causing 85% of commercial buildings in central city to be demolished.

Equipped with electric scooters and extra warm clothing our visitors were treated to all of the central city hotspots on a trip that highlighted both its history and the great progress being made on the rebuild.
