In January 2025, Microsoft will roll out changes to storage policies for unlicensed OneDrive accounts. The change will impact IT administrators and OneDrive users who will be unable to access archived unlicensed accounts.  Further, unlicensed accounts tied to active users where the information is stored in OneDrive will be deleted.

AI is the topic of the month with a new report for Microsoft forecasting that Generative AI could add a massive $76 billion per year to New Zealand’s GDP by 2038. Word for Windows has also taken a leap forward in accessibility with their ‘Quick Fix’ functionality, and new Sharepoint features enable collaboration and restoring of content from version history.

One of the challenges that many of our customers face is the growing storage space demand in 365. We all know that new files have to be added to SharePoint regularly, but many customers lack a safe way of removing files that are not needed anymore, so they end up buying more space.
